Bart Kowalczyk, CPA, started his career in public accounting, where he learned how a set of books should hold up to an outside eye. He then moved into industry and spent the years since running finance for owner-run companies, where he learned what the owner actually needs from the numbers: cash, what changed, and what to decide.
He started Bayfront Bookkeeping & Tax to give companies between $1 million and $10 million that kind of finance function without hiring one.
