What you send through this website
The review request form is hosted by Google Forms under our firm's Google account. It asks for your name, company, email and phone, who keeps your books, the system you use and an optional message. Google stores the answers for us under its own privacy terms. We use them only to reply to you and to send the access steps for the free review.
We never sell it or share it. We delete it if you ask. Please do not send account numbers, passwords or documents through the form.
What this website collects on its own
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.
The photos on this site are hosted with the site itself. Until we host them ourselves too, the fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives the standard information your browser sends when it requests a file, such as your IP address.
Information clients share with us
When you become a client, your engagement letter governs how we use your information. In short: your books and records belong to your company, your information is confidential and protected under our written information security plan, and we use your tax return information only to prepare your returns and do the work in your letter.
You never give us a password. Owners' Social Security numbers and tax documents go only to a restricted folder that only Bart can open, and they never go into any AI tool. Before we use your information to prepare a return, you sign the separate consent the IRS requires.
The free review
For the review we read your books through accountant access or the exports you send. We use what we read only to prepare your report. If you do not go ahead, tell us whether you want your files returned or deleted, and remove our access whenever you like.
